I am currently the Science Leader Biology, DNA Database Management at Forensic Science South Australia. During this time I have supervised criminal case work for over 10 years and testified in both the District and Supreme courts. I am a member of the National DNA User Advisor Group which is contributing to the National DNA Investigative Capability (NDIC) project (NIFA) and was involved in the verification of the new national familial searching capability. I participate in the training of interstate and overseas scientists in the use of the continuous DNA interpretation system, STRmix™. I have an interest in Forensic DNA analysis and forensic databasing including interrogation of databases via direct and familial searching.
