Dr Rebecca D. Napier recently completed her PhD at Flinders University in Gifted Education (2020). Rebecca is a leading authority on giftedness, with a background in working with families and schools in Canada and Australia. She holds several degrees from American and Australian universities. As the Director of Gifted Pathways, she is also a consultant for gifted families and schools. Dr Napier's most recent workplace role was as the Gifted Education Advisor to Catholic Education South Australia with 103 schools. While her main teaching background was as a Gifted Education Coordinator at two R - 12 schools, she has also held roles as a mainstream classroom teacher and within special education. Rebecca was a founding board member of Australia's first gifted school, and a board member of Australian gifted associations. Rebecca's practical experience and research findings have been supported by institutions including Flinders University, Australian Mensa, Debating SA, Chess School SA, Oliphant Science Awards, Tournament of Minds, ABC TV, and LifeFM radio. Since 2001, her main mission has been the practical application of research into learning, development, wellbeing, and achievements for children.
