With an outstanding track record of studying in elite universities (BEng and MEng form Tsinghua University, China and PhD from Northwestern University, U.S.A); multi-disciplinary knowledge base and skill sets (Engineering Mechanics, Applied Mathematics and Software Engineering); as well as industrial experience and international exposure with a leading technology company (Motorola Global Software Division in the U.S., Singapore and Australia), Shaowen is a STEM woman in the College of Science and Engineering aiming at providing value-added contributions to the student success and research excellence that are core to University education.
