Tania Marin

Senior Research Officer

College of Medicine and Public Health

place Flinders Medical Centre Building
GPO Box 2100, Adelaide 5001, South Australia

I have a research background, and have worked across academic, clinical, private and public health, and government and non-government settings. I have previously succeeded in careers covering survey methodology, ethics management, data collection, project coordination, data management, data analysis, and report writing and have been translating the meaning behind data for over twenty years. Having advanced writing skills and strong data analysis (SPSS, Stata, and Qualtrics) and presentation (MSWord, PowerPoint) skills allows me to comprehensively understand and interpret data for reporting and translation purposes. Working in both data management and collection roles has given me a sophisticated understanding of the importance of ethics, privacy and confidentiality when working with sensitive data.

Currently I use my skills in these areas for assisting in furthering public health research in the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute (FHMRI) and the College of Medicine and Pubic Health (CMPH).
